Configuration steps:Step 1Click with the right mouse button on the network icon and choose "Open Network and Sharing Center". |

Step 2Click on the "Manage wireless networks" link. |

Step 3If it exists, select the 'eduroam-guest' network and press the "Remove" button to delete it. |

Step 4Press the "Add" button to add a new network. |

Step 5Choose "Manually create a network profile" |

Step 6Fill in the data as shown in the picture. Network name: eduroam Security type: WPA2-Enterprise Encryption type: AES |

Step 7We still need to modify some network options, so press "Change connection settings" |

Step 8In the "Security" tab, press "Settings..." |
|
Step 9Uncheck the "Validate server certificate" checkbox and press "Configure..." |

Step 10Uncheck the only option that appears in the "EAP MSCHAPv2 Properties" window. Press "OK" to close all the open windows. |

Step 11Windows will ask for your credentials as it tries to connect to the eduroam network. Click with the left mouse button on the baloon to enter the credentials. |

Step 12You must insert your username followed by your faculty domain - "@crb.ucp.pt", and your password. Your computer is now ready to access the UCP wireless lan, as well as the wireless lan of any e-U institution. |
